Job Name • Job ID • Customer — description automatization with Parser

Steps in the Gateway software

  1. Create your own naming convention.  Gateway will name your measurement file with Job name and timestamp. A built-in delimiter is "-"
For example, the naming convention may be as follow:

    CC_Job_Name-CC_Job_ID-Customer-Gateway_Timestamp

  2. Create a new or duplicate an existing Job in the Chart Measurement section
  3. Name it according to your own naming convention
  4. Duplicate Gateway Job if you require to change any
  5. Be sure that your Gateway has an active connection with ChromaChecker Cloud and you are using Advanced mode that is required to send data to the CC Cloud.

Steps on ChromaChecker account

  1. Create Parser in Print Inspector
In our example, we have three first fields to be parsed, the delimiter is: "-" and  we have to assign metadata:
    1st field   Job_Name
    2nd field   Job_ID
    3rd field   Customer

  2. Go to the Track intended to collect measurement and assign just created Parser.

Test implementation

  1. Measure Gateway Job and accept the file. The default name should follow your naming convention. If you need you may edit it.
  2. Open measurement file in Print Inspector - now all fields should be filled automatically

Optional configuration

If you want to use Gateway in an easy mode we recommend using CC Uploader to upload data instead of Gateway built-in CC Cloud connection. Measurement files are stored in your Document folder:

/Users/YourName/Documents/Barbieri/Gateway/Chart/Measurements
