David Hunter David Hunter is a recognized pioneer in print process improvement and color management, with more than 30 years of experience in the graphic arts and printing industries. He began his career at Aldus Corporation, helping Fortune 500 clients adopt desktop publishing and digital color at scale. After Adobe’s acquisition of Aldus, David shifted his focus toward solving real-world color challenges, founding his own ventures to give printers and brands greater control over their processes. In 2013, he co-founded ChromaChecker Corporation, turning decades of industry insight into the world’s first universal color platform. His concept of the E-Factor®—a measurable way to define and track color expectations—has become central to how leading printers and manufacturers align devices, processes, and standards. David is also known for building industry communities: he co-founded the GATF/PIA Color Conference in 1999, helped lead Apple’s national ColorSync tour, and continues to speak at major events on the future of color quality. Today, under David’s leadership, ChromaChecker empowers companies worldwide to track, quantify, and manage color performance in real time—turning color from a problem into a competitive advantage. |
