These Plugin Terms supplement the ChromaChecker End-User License Agreement (the "EULA") and apply only if you install or use the Video Plugin. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the EULA. In the event of conflict, these Plugin Terms prevail for matters specific to this Plugin; the EULA governs everything else (EULA §2.4).
1. What this Plugin does
The Video Plugin plays ChromaChecker's instructional videos inside the application, from ChromaChecker's channel on Vimeo (https://vimeo.com/chromachecker). Your Organisation may point it at a different channel in the Plugin's settings.
2. Vimeo is a third party
Playing a video means the workstation contacts Vimeo. Vimeo receives what any web service receives from a visitor — the request, the IP address it came from, and the video requested — and sets its own cookies in the application's embedded browser, under its own privacy policy, which ChromaChecker does not control.
CC Capture sends Vimeo no ChromaChecker account information: there is no Vimeo token in the application, and playback does not identify the operator to Vimeo.
3. What is stored
The channel address is stored in the workstation's application settings. Vimeo's cookies live in the embedded browser's own storage on the workstation and can be cleared with it.
4. If you would rather not
The Plugin is optional. Deactivate it and no request is made to Vimeo.
