Baselining allows you to set a target based on the condition of the press in what is considered an optimal state. It is usually set in the start to define a target that you can always use as a comparison to the current condition of the press. It is a simple process of selecting the files to be used to define the baseline and select the "Ok/Baseline" button at the bottom of the screen.

 Any measurement or group of measurements can be set as a baseline.  Only the selection of patches are used for this purpose:

• Substrate
• Primaries Solids: C, M, Y, K
• Overprints solids: R, G, B
• G7® CMY grays: 10, 25, 75 and 100%
• Primaries Tints: 10, 20 25, 40, 50, 75 and 80%

You will see that ChromaChecker tracks both the result to the target such as GRACoL and to a baseline that is specific to the press. This is different than Benchmarking a press and is intended as a quick way to know if the mechanical aspect of the press has drifted as compared to the workflow or profiling of the press.

OK Sheets are intended to create a target from a sheet that can be used as a reference target. Baselines are intended to determine the condition of the press from a group of files and become a separate data point shown in the track graphical interface.
