CC Uploader

Automatically upload measurement files from third-party software to ChromaChecker — no manual intervention required.

CC Uploader

CC Uploader monitors designated hot folders on your computer. When a measurement file appears, it automatically transmits the data to ChromaChecker via SOAP/HTTPS — enabling hands-free data collection from any third-party measurement software.

How It Works

CC Uploader watches one or more input folders for new measurement files. When a file matching the configured filter appears, it is automatically transmitted to ChromaChecker and optionally moved or copied to an output folder with a timestamp-based filename.

Supported File Formats

CC Uploader handles measurement files from all major spectrophotometer software packages:

.xml .txt .svf .csv .cxf .mxf .lxf

Wildcard and regular expression filtering let you target specific filenames within a folder, avoiding accidental uploads of unrelated files.

Key Features

  • Hot folder monitoring — watches local or network folders; auto-mounts on network reconnection
  • Timestamp renaming — renames uploaded files with an optional prefix and timestamp for traceability
  • Input/Output folder management — moves or copies files after upload
  • SOAP/HTTPS transmission — encrypted upload on port 443
  • Inspector selection — route files to Print Inspector or Instrument Inspector
  • IT lock — administrators can lock the interface to prevent operator changes
  • Active checkbox — each folder watcher must be activated individually

Requirements

  • Mac or Windows 10+
  • Stable internet connection
  • HTTPS port 443 open for SOAP protocol
  • Valid SOAP credentials from your ChromaChecker account
SOAP credentials are separate from your regular ChromaChecker login. Generate them from your account dashboard under Settings → SOAP Credentials.
