ChromaChecker System Overview

Understand how the components of the ChromaChecker platform fit together before you start.

ChromaChecker System Overview

ChromaChecker is a cloud-based color management platform for professional print production. It connects measurement instruments, desktop apps, and mobile apps into one system — enabling consistent color quality control across every press, device, and location.

ChromaChecker Cloud — The Admin Hub

The ChromaChecker Cloud is the central hub of the platform. It handles administration settings, system configuration, the central color repository, and expert analytics. All data measured by client applications is uploaded here and made available for reporting, history, and pass/fail evaluation.

Admin Login is required to access configuration and management functions. Managers and operators can view performance data through the web browser interface without installing any additional software.

Client Software Solutions

ChromaChecker provides several client applications depending on your workflow and devices.

Application Platform Data Upload Pass/Fail History
CC Capture Mac & Windows
CC Uploader Mac & Windows
CC Display Mac & Windows
CC Connect iOS
CC Nano iOS
Most users start with CC Capture — it covers Print Inspector, Color Inspector, Substrate Inspector, Lighting Inspector, and more in a single desktop application.

Third-Party Integrations

ChromaChecker also connects with a wide range of third-party RIPs and measurement software via CC Uploader or dedicated gateways — including EFI XF, CGS Oris, GMG, Techkon Expresso, MeasureColor, Heidelberg Quality Manager, and many others.

Note: Third-party integrations typically support data upload only. For pass/fail reporting and historical performance views, use the CC Operator Interface or CC Connect in addition.
