Accountability Inspector

Assign staff to devices, track who measured what, and deliver targeted performance reports to every level of the organisation.

Accountability Inspector

Accountability Inspector links measurement data to specific people and devices, enabling targeted reporting, proactive maintenance scheduling, and compliance documentation across the entire production floor.

Staff Roles

Each user receives a unique login accessible from chromachecker.com, the iOS app, or CC Capture. Every staff member is assigned to one of three responsibility levels:

General Responsibility
Top management — organisation-wide performance view, no device-level detail from other facilities
Managerial Responsibility
Production and quality managers — facility-level view with device stack ranking
Primary Responsibility
Press operators — assigned to specific devices, receive real-time pass/fail feedback
Recommended initial setup: assign at least four key roles — Quality Manager, Production Manager, IT Manager, and HR Manager. Use Teams to speed up privilege assignment when many operators share the same access level.

Device Monitoring

Accountability Inspector monitors all production devices and instruments in the facility:

  • Printing devices (offset, digital, flexo, large format)
  • Viewing light booths
  • Measurement instruments
  • Platesetters
  • Environmental data loggers (RHT sensors)

The dashboard uses colour-coded status indicators (green / yellow / red) to show at a glance which devices are in conformance, approaching the maintenance threshold, or already out of spec.

Notifications & Compliance

Accountability Inspector automatically notifies responsible personnel when a device is due for a conformance check or maintenance interval. This shifts maintenance strategy from reactive to proactive, reducing downtime and non-conformance events.

Automated documentation supports ISO 9000 certification and other compliance requirements, providing a complete audit trail of who measured what, when, and on which device.

Importing Staff

For organisations with many employees, staff can be imported in bulk from an HR or management system via CSV file, eliminating manual entry. When adding staff, assign them immediately to their printing devices — each device must have at least one Primary Responsibility operator assigned.
