Performance Inspector — Reports

Automated weekly reports for every level of the organisation — from press operators to top management — showing how each device performs against the company average.

Performance Inspector — Reports

ChromaChecker delivers custom performance reports to every person responsible for print manufacturing — tailored to their level of responsibility and filtered to the devices they manage.

Zero-Waste Reporting

Unlike systems that generate a single report for one person, ChromaChecker creates individual weekly reports for every top manager, middle manager, and press operator in the organisation. Each person receives data only for the devices they are responsible for — no irrelevant information, no filtering required.

Reports are cloud-based. Physical location is irrelevant: all responsible parties have direct access to how any device under their responsibility is performing at any time.

Top manager report — organisation-wide device performance overview
Location report — facility-level performance with device stack ranking

Report Levels

Three levels of reports, each with an eight-week performance trend line:

Top Management

Shows organisation-wide performance. Plant managers see only how their facility performs compared to the company average — not the detail of other facilities. Devices are stack-ranked from best to worst, enabling focus on the poorest performers.

Location / Department

Facility-level view showing all devices at a given location, grouped by device type (offset, digital, large format). Managers can immediately identify which devices are making money and which require attention.

Company-level report — digital press fleet performance
Company-level report — large format printer performance

Operator

Shows individual operator performance compared to other operators running the same type of device. Helps identify training opportunities and motivates operators by showing their contribution to the company’s overall performance.

Lean Manufacturing Context

Performance Inspector supports continuous improvement programs by providing consistent, objective feedback on how each employee and device is performing against company goals. This data-driven approach enables organisations to:

  • Distinguish operator-related issues (training) from device-related issues (maintenance)
  • Identify the worst-performing devices and prioritise improvement efforts
  • Track the effect of maintenance or process changes over the eight-week trend window
  • Provide print buyers with documented evidence of color conformance
